Rhodolite Heart Labret Ear Stud

This ring is part of a limited-run collection made from a rare parcel of brilliant Tanzanian rhodolite hearts. The rhodolites have a raspberry pink to purplish-red maroon hue depending on the lighting. Its color is unique and unlike rubies or pink sapphires. Heart gemstones of this small and subtle size don’t come by often because of how difficult it is to cut them. The collection sells out when the parcel of rhodolite hearts are used up, it will not be reproduced.

Fun facts: Rhodolite is one of January's birthstones. It gets its name from the Greek word rhodon, meaning "rose", thanks to its stunning color.

Materials & Dimensions

Solid 14k yellow and white gold. Nickel and lead free. Solid 14k white gold is plated with white rhodium.
Natural Tanzanian rhodolite garnets. Beautiful brilliance. 
Earring 3mm width, 4.1mm height. 

Flatback threaded labret:  Needle 1mm Thin (18 gauge), Length 6.5mm, Disc 3mm, Holly Gray branded, 14K hallmarked.

Wearing Instructions

Insert the flatback labret first from the back. Screw on the front stud after.

Do not apply any force as the screw-on needle is 0.75mm thin.

If you experience any resistance in the midst of fully screwing on the stud, calmly unscrew the whole thing to realign the thread. Applying force will cause the needle to break. Don't be shy to reach out to us if you're having difficulties putting it on.
