This earring is part of our Valentine’s Day collection made from a parcel of brilliant Tanzanian rhodolite hearts, specially sourced in-person. The rhodolites have a raspberry pink to purplish-red maroon hue depending on the lighting. Its color is unique and unlike rubies or pink sapphires. Heart gemstones of this small and subtle size don’t come by often because of how difficult it is to cut them. The collection sells out when the parcel of rhodolite hearts are used up.

Fun facts: Rhodolite is one of January's birthstones. It gets its name from the Greek word rhodon, meaning "rose", thanks to its stunning color.
